This necklace is a one-of-a-kind piece made with carefully selected items from my box of broken jewellery. These old discarded parts have been collected by me for many years, and now have been given a new home as part of this Bohemian-style assemblage necklace.
This is a long necklace, made with two rows of upcycled charms on bronze chain. These are suspended by little handmade wire-wrapped bead connectors to some twisty gold coloured chain which I found at the bottom of a box of vintage buttons. It fastens with an antique-bronze extra-large lobster clasp and ring for easy closure.
The charms are made from beads, buttons, safety pins, a dolls’ house teapot, old coins, a ring, a Maori-style wooden carving, as well as well as a few regular bronze toned charms.
